Amador Law Corporation just obtained a complete win in a real estate, non-disclosure arbitration representing a family trust that had sold its family residence. The buyers alleged the trust had committed fraud because it failed to disclose damage to a structural beam it allegedly knew about. The real estate disclosure documents indicated the trust knew about a leaky deck that allegedly caused damage to the beam. The buyers claimed the trust intentionally misrepresented the deck had been fixed to sell the house. The buyers claimed hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages and punitive damages. After a three day arbitration the Arbitrator awarded the buyers zero damages and awarded the trust all of its attorneys’ fees and costs. Once the award is entered as a judgment and collected, Amador Law Corporation will reimburse its client one hundred percent of the fees and costs it incurred in the litigation. The arbitration was before Judge Thomas at ADR.
